What to Backup?

This depends on how and where you save your files, photos, etc. Normally the folders below should be backed up.

  • My Contacts
  • My Documents
  • My Music
  • My Pictures
  • My Videos
  • Favourites
  • Desktop
  • Outlook Emails
  • Windows Live Mail

There is no need to backup the whole user profile or the C drive. 99% of those files are of no use and it takes a lot of space.
